Caritas Bangladesh (CB) is a national and non-profit development organization operating in Bangladesh since 1967. It has its Central Office in Dhaka and eight Regional Offices in Barisal, Chittagong, Dhaka, Dinajpur, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rajshahi and Sylhet. CB is implementing 87 on-going projects covering 209 upazila focusing on six main priorities i.e i) Social Welfare and Community Development, ii) Quality Education, iii) Health Care and Education, iv) Disaster Management, v) Ecological Conservation and Development and vi) Development of Indigenous Peoples.

- Support and administer all travel related tasks as advised by Project Direct.
- Responsible for proper and timely maintenance of vehicle and related vehicle documentation.
- Prepare payment to the vendors with proper approval from Project Director through following Caritas Procurement Policy.
- Support/ Assist other project staff by maintaining technical infrastructure (procurement for Printer cartridge); arranging for equipment servicing and repairs when needed as advised by the Program Director.
- Creating and updating the national and international staff contact lists (tel, mobile, e-mail and address lists) as required.
- Assist in activities such as meetings, conferences and workshops.

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the areas of MEAL in emergency response in any NGO, preferably an INGO.
- Excellent skills in designing and planning of M&E and methods, tools development and execute by APPS development for data collection by using tablets.
- Excellent database management skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, and transmitted data via internet with statistical analysis by using SPSS,commcarehq, internet transmitted data, STATA, EpiInfo, etc.
- Strong analytical skills and able to prepare regular monitoring report, evaluation report, rapid assessment in different issues on emergency response as well as MEAL report.

- Provide technical support for planning, designing and implementation of MEAL and conduct different rapid assessments such as social and economic vulnerability, feedback mechanism, need assessment, gender analysis, stakeholder analysis, baseline study by using different methods in emergency responses.
- Develop and review theories of change, setting indicators for Shelter NFI, Food security, Protection, CFS, WASH, health, nutrition, site development, upgradation and management in emergency response for M&E.
- Develop and application of appropriate Methods for MEAL in emergency response and designing tools and materials by APPS development for data collection by using tablets.
- Prepare MEAL report, M&E report and different necessary rapid assessment report on emergency response and timely delivery to the team leader complying with donor requirements and share with project management, implementing partners and stakeholders.
- Ensure project monitoring systems provide timely, high quality data that is consistently collected, analyzed and shared with project management, implementing partners and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project/program managers to co-facilitate quarterly learning to action discussions that include reflection on project monitoring data to inform evidence-based decision making and action planning.
- Provide technical assistance to MEAL systems of emergency response project for the forcibly displaced Myanmar nationals and ensure the quality and integrity of all data gathered.
- Ensure all monitoring data is recorded in the project databases and tracking tools in a timely and accurate manner.

GIS Manager

- Masters Degree in Geography or Environmental Science or any-related field.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in GIS preferably working with NGOs or government agencies.
- Experience in working and implementing NGO-related projects preferred.
- Training in GIS a must. Training in CommCare is preferred.

- Assist in maintaining a GIS system for site planning and development, and ensuring compatiblity with UNHCR site planning systems.
- Plot points from a map onto the physical site boundary lines, community facilities, latrines, water points roads and drainages.
- Reversely plot the final location of the above facilities and infrastructure and feed it into the as built site plan.
- Assist in developing the site plan and information for assigned site to be upgraded and developed (Site Ref: BB and UU).
- Plan a schedule of GIS activity implementation according to the project’s Detailed Implementation Plan and ensure implementation. Notifies supervisor of any deviations from the plan or needed adjustments.
- Provide technical assistance to staff and site beneficiaries in areas of risk, vulnerability, hazard and asset mapping. Develops training or communications materials as needed.

- Liaise closely with Regional Director, Project Director, Field Offices & partners’ finance team in implementing the accounting and financial system as per the standard policies of Caritas and as per the regulations stipulated in the project agreement.

- Develop questionnaire, arrange field-testing before data collection and devise other materials needed to extract data pertaining to the activities.

- Support UNHCR to maintain the M&E audit trails for the data reported by different levels.
- Assist in research activities, study/evaluation process, and data compilation and provide necessary support in preparation of study/evaluation report of Project.
- Conduct training and help to develop the skills of the project personnel on various aspects of monitoring.
